Chengdu
Chengdu is a famous historical and cultural city, the birthplace of ancient civilization, one of the top ten ancient capitals in China. In the fourth century BC, the enlightened dynasty IX proposed "make it a city in one year, and make it capital (Chengdu in Chinese) in two years”, and then comes the name Chengdu. There have been seven separatist regimes here to build capital; it has been the state and county offices of various dynasties. Chengdu was one of the five major cities in the country during the Han Dynasty and one of the most developed industrial and commercial cities in China during the Tang Dynasty. Chengdu has many scenic spots and historical sites such as Dujiangyan, Wuhou Temple, Du Fu Caotang, Jinsha Site, and is an excellent tourist city in China.
