Wuhan
Wuhan is referred to as “Han” and the provincial capital of Hubei Province. The Yangtze River, the third largest river in the world, and its longest tributary, the Han River, traverse the urban area, dividing Wuhan into three, forming the pattern of the three towns of Wuchang, Hankou and Hanyang. As the water and land transportation hub of China, Wuhan controls the throat of the middle reaches of the Yangtze River and controls the most important part of the north-south traffic. It is known as the “thoroughfare of Nine Provinces”. The splendid cherry blossoms, the lake scenery, the rich food and the heavy history add unique charms to the city of Wuhan. Wuhan is a veritable food capital, and the Han flavor is especially tempting. A bowl of hot dry noodles or a box of duck neck can make people forget to return. Jianghan Road, Lihuangyu Road and other streets recorded the humiliation of the concession era.
